I have a bee hotel for solitary bees.. Half full.

Ive always had a few boxes of bamboo for any bees to make use of in the garden. Not sure what youre asking. Are you wanting to know to give them a helping hand? Sometimes my boxes are used sometimes not but theyre there if they need them kind of like my bird boxes.

I usually have a Nest box or two of Tree Bumblebees which I have relocated to home when they are causing a nuisance to an unsympathetic home owner.
At the end of the season when the Nest box is empty I then take the Nest box to local woodlands and hang them for the birds.

You might well help these species, but there is no way you will "keep" them in the way we keep honey bees. Bumbles will not use the same box in consecutive years. Mason bees are basically solitary bees, even if they appear quite communal.

There are commercial bumble-bee farmers, but it’s a difficult task. Read ‘A Sting in the Tale’ by Dave Goulson.
