Hi All,
Frames made (all 60 of them - thank god for nail guns), hives assembled and looking resplendent in 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield Masonry.
Am now getting to the stage where I need to look at sourcing the only missing ingredient - bees. Obviously I am keen to get off to as a good start as possible and have had no shortage of advice. To this end, and after some research, I have been looking at Beckys Beezzzs for sourcing a 14 x 12, 6 x frame nuc. They are reasonably local to me - but not cheap (which might be a good thing!).
Anyone any experience of Becky's Bees? PM me if necessary. Thanks.
