I just discovered i have one colony where the queen lays drone eggs, what would be the next step if i want to join them with normal colony? it is very nice outside, would like to do it today as it is warm enough. shake them off the comb and remove the hive?
or just find the queen and kill it and join with newspaper?

newspaper method is almost infalible

how i did it then : didn't find the queen, shaked few frames at a time on the coverboard, and shaked them off in front of the hive i wanted them to go. in they went, problem solved.

You were lucky there wasnt a fight...

Sometimes it helps to find the queen if you split frames between 3 nuc boxes (if you have them). The 2 boxes with no queen will soon be unsettled, so explore the settled nuc. She will be between frames. Usually works for me.
