I decided not to add this to the bottling honey thread as it may be of more use to everyone and easier to find.

Where does everyone purchase their jars from, what type, etc, what prices per gross/half gross ?

Thornes, Maisemore, KBS, other jar suppliers ??

What quantity do you purchase to get that price ?

I got mine from Bottle South, formerly Bristol Bottle Company. Can't help you with quantity or price as I bought my last lot of 12oz hex's for jam's a while back as I sell a bit of that too. They will deliver by courier next day, but of course you pay for that so from them 1 box is probably quite expensive. So my answer is not a lot of help but it is a useful alternative supplier for the desperate........I expect the delivery charge gets less as the quantity gets higher.

Check first if your local association buys in bulk and sells to it's members.
They often are better than buying yourself as delivery is not added on to the final price.

Certainly leaping up in price, just a very few months ago the below company was £24 gross, including lids, delivered, min 15 gross.
Now, £31 delivered, or £28 per gross if you collect.
