I went into the local Poundland shop to get some cheap jam for wasp traps, I picked up a jar of jam and noticed it did not have any form of anty tamper sticker nor did the honey jars you could open the jars and nobody would have known, Is this legal as we have to put anty tamper stickers on our honey jars. Maybe the lids were of the tamper- and safety-check type. Reject if the lid pops on pressing the centre, as there should be a vacuum retained?

We don't have to use anti-tamper stickers. Depends on how it is displayed, I suppose. It may be a sensible precaution in a lot of cases, but the few jars my wife might supply to friends simply comes with our guarantee of safe practice.
