Oh God. I do t think I could do that. I haven’t really had a problem anywhere with slugs despite the rain. These were a chance find. Stan out them in the compost heap at the bottom of the garden.

12 feet up a beech tree surrounded by ivy. The nest box was ok inside. We wondered why the camera wasn’t working

No ? ... they are all in my garden ... eating anything they can ! And some things I didn't think they would. I don't use slug baits of any sort but I'm running out of crushed egg shells and even the naematodes this year don't seem to have had as much effect as they have in previous years - hardly surprising with the amount of rain we've had.

No. They won’t eat them. Cat food is best if you’re feeding hedgehogs.
