Chuck them into a bucket of water and let them stew for a week or two ... lots of lovely naematodes to kill their friends off !Refurbishing a couple of camera nest boxes.
Oh God. I do t think I could do that. I haven’t really had a problem anywhere with slugs despite the rain. These were a chance find. Stan out them in the compost heap at the bottom of the garden.Chuck them into a bucket of water and let them stew for a week or two ... lots of lovely naematodes to kill their friends off !
Wherever was it placed to end up like that? Just gross!Refurbishing a couple of camera nest boxes.
No ? ... they are all in my garden ... eating anything they can ! And some things I didn't think they would. I don't use slug baits of any sort but I'm running out of crushed egg shells and even the naematodes this year don't seem to have had as much effect as they have in previous years - hardly surprising with the amount of rain we've had.Oh God.
