Hi I’m in the process of Introducing a carni queen to my buckfast colony due to their queen disappearing and queen cells appearing, can this be done? its a full colony so not may options, she’s a carni type bee will
The buckfast worker accept her? I’ve been removing queen cells and have the queen in her cage with attendants with the tab still in place the colony still seems very aggressive never noticed so much aggression when adding same type of bee, any info will be helpful cheers Tom

Although Buckfast are pretty laid back accepting new queens I wouldn’t risk it in your case. It reads line you need to make a nuc up for your queen
A couple of points.
How do the bees keep making queen cells?
Carnis are not same type of bee at all. Carnica is a subspecies of the Western Honey Bee; Buckfast is a hybrid.
