Morning, Introduced caged mated queen to large hive yesterday, plan to inspect tomorrow and remove tab. please give guide of behaviour I look for from the hive if queen accepted?
Thanks

Bit more info Steve?
What is the colony status and background? Did they lose their queen or did you despatch her are they hopelessly queenless? etc.
Behaviour of workers to queen, look for bees acting nicely, licking the queen and those over the cage can be easily moved with a finger. If they look a bit frenzied, curling abdomens and difficult to move, leave them for another couple of days and check again but don't be in a rush to remove that tab.

Thanks, it's a double brood with red queen - brood partner starting to looking patchy. removed Red queen and introduced caged blue mated queen yesterday. will take a look tomorrow, if all calm will remove tab.thanks again.

OK.
So you did an immediate introduction after removing the old queen which is better than waiting until hopelessly queenless but you will still need to check for and break down any emergency cells before releasing her.
Personally, I'd have split the two boxes and rearranged the brood so only sealed/emerging with the new queen and open brood with the old queen. When new queen is out and laying, bump off the old queen and unite.
Are they a gentle colony?

Morning, checked after 48hrs, bees calm around cage. removed tab. will check again in few days queens released. With 4 queens I've placed into nucs with 4 frames of brood and stores to combine when all settled. Thanks
