Incubator

Has anyone ever found a "Small" incubator ?.
I notice thornes sell one but it looks big & its over £200 quid .

Hi Dave
I have no idea, i guess one of those thermostatically controlled units might do the trick ? does anyone else use one to hatch out their queens.

After working the hives at the weekend i ended up with a dozen sealed cells that i cut out the frame & brought home with me, i stuck them to the underside of a honey jar lid using melted wax, 1 cell to a jar, as rather than just squash them, being the curious type of fellow i thought it might be fun to see if any hatch out.
They are in the airing cupboard, but i dont think the temp is high enough consistently for a positive result.

Was wondering what people have used on here ?

I believe that for rearing queens any trning functions will not be needed. The hovabator is one of the standards in raising poultry and has been around for years. You may like to look here
