This weekend's International Meeting of Young Beekeepers (IMYB) was held for the 1st time in the UK at Marlborough College. 19 countries from as far away as India and Russia sent teams of 12-15 yr old beeks to this prestigious event organised by Ruth & Ian Homer backed by a great team of volunteers.

The BBC sent two film crews (Countryfile and Points West) and the Radio 4 Farming Today were also present. The Countryfile piece should go out sometime towards the end of July.

The BBKA president, John Hendrie was interviewed along wth two facilitators, Florian Busch from Germany and Christopher Abi Chedid from Lebanon. You can here the radio interview here.
