I would like to find an estate agent in Wales who

could help me find a smallholding.

I have a friend who for 30 years was an estate agent specialised in selling smallholdings in Wales. That's all he sold. He made a fortune and retired early. Thing is, he would sell a place, the people would usually hold out 2 yrs, find they couldn't make out, and then he would sell it on for them. And so it went on. With nearly all the smallholdings. I could give you the details of his successor if you like, but ............................

I dont think I have dog for that much gold yet, but I have already started to think about selling shovels.

Try the magazine "The Smallholder", it's a monthly publication which has a properties section . Wales always features strongly .

Beekeeping is also covered with some interesting articles .. Unlike some other farming/smallholding publications, it thus far hasn't been taken over by the Equestrian Brigade .
