I have just been listening to OLD HARRYS GAME on radio four. two of the jokes was so good i had to pass them on.

charles dickins only wrote scrooge as an advertising ploy by the poultry producers

and the other charicture has to read scrooge back wards so there is a happy endding to it

old harrys game

rather poor IMHO usually - only good bit was last year or year before.

the wife off one foot in the grave ( i think) had been murdered. whilst trying to get to bottom of who did it they asked here to describe what she was doing at the time

"sitting in front of tea watching midsomer murders"

"and what were you thinking?"

"Nothing. i was watching midsomer murders!"
