DOH!

You probably all know this - but just to avoid you being disappointed too:

I thought it would be fun to show at the National Honey show. There are points to be won for your region. My honey looks good, smells nice and is in shiny jars with no finger marks on the lids. I was told to carefully apply the labels so they are straight and matched. Done. When I rubbed the labels, however, to make sure they were stuck on properly and flat, most of the text came off on my fingers!!!!

Spray the labels with hair laqueur, or car body repair clear laqueur aerosol, or a stuff called "Sprayfix" but its not cheap. Another option is to print your labels on thin (135gm) photo paper.
