Good idea to have your jar sent off for testing. Did they say how long it would take??

Its a real shame and you were getting all excited over your green honey, that is now not green at all . You haven't explained, is your latest jar of honey in your piccy, is that your normal runny honey that's crystallised or is a jar of your "green" soft set that now isn't green?

Long time ago I questioned the variable greenness.....which does not show when you look through the glass directly but looking along it the light is passing through a lot more glass and it shows.

Was told by the source makers (at the time it was Greggs although we bought them from F&H and had the F&H punt mark) that the explanation is the proportion of cullet used in the blend of glass. If no cullet the glass is very clear, but some glass...especially some oe the VE glass we used from Italy, had a pronounced green hue.

In normal useage it made very little difference...you only see the green tinge at thick parts of the glass..such as the base vertexes on hex jars.
