Only one Box left, and if it is still in my garage on Saturday I shall start filling the jars with Honey :)
(or sell it on eBay).

If i still lived at Petersfield i`d pop down and buy them off you :)

Darren.

My Jar selling experience worked out a success.
I shall definitely be repeating the exercise, and would recommend other Beekeepers follow my example.

The company I used was bottlesandjars.co.uk/
Its the first time I have used them, and would recommend them.
I did spend some time looking at various suppliers, but these were the ones that suited my needs.
Ordering was easy, and delivery very fast.

They were able to supply me with 8 Gross (8 x 144) of Jars and Lids
for £261.60 (which included Free delivery).

The Jars were delivered in 16 boxes of 72 stacked on a pallet.
The delivery man placed them in my garage for me so it couldn’t have been easier.
I sold the boxes at £18 a box
This covered the original purchase price plus a little more to cover breakages.
Fortunately I only broke a few!

I did make the mistake of selling two boxes on eBay.
I wouldnt recommend it unless you put a decent markup on your item,
as once eBay and Paypal take their commision you are left a few pound down.

Next time I shall look at ordering some of the other sizes/styles of Jars they produce.

Nearly forgot ...The Bonus.
You are left with a decent size pallet which you could make a nice Hive stand from (Free)
