2 of my colonies rapidly expanded in the early season, so I put on an extra brood box on each cleared off queen cells, but they set out on the swarm course of action regardless now Im left with my second brood chamber full of honey anybody got any tips how to extract this ?
Thanks

How do you mean - tips?

Just get tangential screens if you have a radial extractor?
Put them in a tangential extractor?

Make sure the frames are fitted the right way round in both cases.

Use another method (crushing , pressing, shredding, chopping, scraping, etc).

Is this OSR honey? - if so, the tip is 'get it off soon'.

You could get it moved into shallow super frames, I s'pose.

You could even keep some for winter stores, if you are that way inclined.

Tell us a little more.

Regards, RAB

will hopefully be doing the same myself later this year as a hive i look after only has brood sized boxes.

I was told it was a case of uncap it and let it drain out in a warm area over saucepan? Hope it is a straightforward as it sounds!!
