Thornes do a filling / weighing machine for £600. Tempted myself as jarring is so mundane but would like some reviews. I actually have a manual machine in the garage but it can only do pounds and half and also needs a lot of work to be fitted to a new tank.
I bought one like this from ebay. I fixed it into a beer fermenting bin - being careful with the hole cutting. It works well.Thornes and National Bee Supplies sell a snap shut 'clean cut' valve (called the 'perfection' valve with NBS) which is meant to be drip free, I have one but have yet to try it. I think you need a metal bottling tank as it needs a robust foundation to work effectively.
