Showing my age here, but if you look on You Tube under Pogles Wood there is a lovely little episode with honey bees.

Pogles Wood was my all time favourite! I would attach a link but can't seem to do it on my I-touch.

I had forgotten all about Pogles wood. That has taken me right back. I loved it. Thank you FB.
I am going to have to watch them all now and all the episodes of Tales of the Riverbank bee-smillie

You're welcome, they're great aren't they! Don't make 'em like they used to!

Yes the Pogles were one of my favourites too.
Tip for beekeepers: don't leave door to honey shed open. It's not just Pogles that take honey. And don't Pogles realise the going rate is a fiver?

There's a very old joke about Muffin the Mule but I don't think I want to air it on here

I'd heard that Muffin the Mule, Dobbin the Donkey and Mountain goats was illegal !!

As for thrupenny bits what about farthings and 10 bob notes !!

I've met Bill and Ben! The BBC had a stand at a festival, and included the original puppets in the original set. I remember all sorts of interesting things they used to get up to!

The set was actually a box about 18" x 2', and the puppets could be moved a few inches left or right. The rest was provided by the viewers imagination. Who needs pixar!

Thought my lap top screen was broken their is no colour maybe it a problem on u tube
