Have to admit I'm very much of the "splash of this, splosh of that" school of cooking so the quantities are a bit of guesswork, taste it and add more soy or honey as needed. I tend to view this as a base and maybe add a few things depending on my mood. A bit of 5 spice, or chilli perhaps but it's pretty good on its own too.

Couple of tablespoons of Soy Sauce
About a 1inch chunk of ginger finely diced
clove of garlic finely diced
Table spoon of honey.
Tablespoon of Rice wine or sherry
Splash of rice vinegar
good splash of Sesame Oil.

Marinate the salmon for a couple of hours turning once to make sure it's well coated.

Grill the salmon and brush more on as needed. If you try and fry it you'll probably end up with the salmon stuck to the pan.

What's left makes a decent sauce for noodles/veg too, add a teaspoon of cornflour mixed in a little water to thicken as necessary.
