I have a permanent search on FB for insulation sheets. Every few months some come on - surplus new or used- and I buy cheap..
(ditto engineering pallets)

But I am mean.

even buying from B&Q (so not the cheapest) an 8x4 sheet of Celotex costs under thirty quid you can line over a dozen roofs with that (some will need two smaller pieces rather than one whole), one tube of stickslikeshit adhesive to fix it into the roofs, so you are looking at about two and a half quid per roof, probably a lot cheaper from a local merchant or, as madasafish says, facebook, gumtree et al always have bargins featured.
Hardly going to break the bank is it?

Interesting that one of the insulating wraps was about £30 but a national poly brood box can be had for about the same money. No brainer IMHO.
Added advantage is that the Abelo feeder box can do five other jobs and is in permanent use (see link above) and so well worth the investment.

Sometimes it pays to spend money in order to save it (and to save labour & transport of kit).

Still have a lot of the 8 X4 sheets I found in a skip (i am meaner) done the hive roofs and made jackets and recently used some to insulate the hedgehog houses.
The pink insulation sheets are the holy grail for model makers and I found a load of that in a skip but it's very rare in the UK.
