Hive from insulation board

Anyone made a hive from insulation board with foil on both sides (celotex, kingspan or similar)? Would it be suitable?

Have a gander at this tread, Lancs lad has made poly nucs: 25mm insulation board using Styrofoam rtm-x which is now marketed as Ravatherm XPLUS RTM.

Thanks, I have seen that, but ravatherm boards seem to be a little bit on the expensive side.

I made a long hive completely out of PIR bar the floor, this will be the first winter. So far this year haven't encountered any issues. I do suspect at some stage I will have esp with propolis.
