I am thinking of making a holder, to attach to the side of the hive, to hold one frame during inspections. T****** sell one at a price. I did try those plastic 'over the door' shirt hangers but the hook over size was too large. Will save a little bit of bending at each hive! Anyone out there any ideas?????

Go to B&Q buy a lengh of metal strip bend to the same shape as th***** one
(The hooks) but instead of having a metal width bar , make a wooden bar and screw the hooks to it at the right distance apart for what ever hive u use.

I use a 2 frame plywood nuc, saves losing a Queen .
It's light weight costs pence to make (Simples)

I lean the first frame against the Brood box.

Cost: Zero.
