Hi everyone.

I'm a retired beekeeper, as in retired from actively keeping bees and not retired from work :sneaky:.

18 months ago I lost my hives over winter, never did figure out the cause.

Anyhow, I left one of the hives in place due to other commitments meaning I didnt get around to taking it away.

So last May a swarm turned up and despite my better judgement I captured it and put them in the hive. They made it through the winter and from the one look inside seem to be doing ok, other than they arent the tidiest lot I've ever seen. Problem is I dont have the time to look after them. I'm looking for someone to take them off my hands, including the hive itself, 3 deeps and two supers plus a load of other bits.

Im guessing a PM is the easiest way to make contact. Happy to post pictures.

For infor I'm in the Market Weighton area.

Welcome Allan
I’ve moved your thread to the general beekeeping section where more people should see it.
I hope you find a home for them.
Maybe we might see you back here when you are retired properly.

I am sure someone in the York area will reply, thanks for offering it, pity I am so far away!:cheers2:
