Just a brief note to say hi to all existing members.

Based in Hampshire, between Southampton and Fareham, I started beekeeping after taking an introductory course locally with a friend. In the three years since, my friend and I have gone from 1 colony to 4, encountered numerous problems including four swarmings, colony starvation, queen loss and reintroduction, and , so far, no honey to speak of. Our bees keep us on our toes and constantly learning and I have every hope that joining this forum will prove enlightening and help me to be successful in my attempts to keep my little charges alive and healthy!
