Hi i live in Broadstairs in east Kent and want any info on getted started ,tried my local group and surrounding area's and courses that are about and are full .Have been advised to join group's and get to know some bee keepers to get some hand's on exp but no meeting happening for a while. Any advice would be good:laughing-smiley-014:

If you are unable to travel to a course then I would join your local group and at the next meeting try and link up with a mentor.

They should be able to sort you out with a Nuc as well.

Also we have a few threads with some excellent book recommendations.

Its a great time of year to be starting out.

Search the members list for Mike Lane and PM him. He should be able to sought you out bees/hive at reasonable cost, he is local and may even let you come and get in his way for a day:svengo:
