Hi, hope there is someone out there that can help me,novice and first disaster.Put feeder on last night and have found out the feederhad a leak,it leaked about half a pint of feed directly into the broodbox.(no superframes fitted yet).What should i do?

Remove it and test before using again.

Bees will be fine.

Don't worry if its only half a pint of liquid as the bees will clear that up in a couple of days.
You could check in a couple of days that the floor, if its not an OMF, is dry and no pools of wet or dampness.

Regards;

Gosh what a relief!thought i had done lasting damage.Thanks for the quick reply saved me a sleepless night.

If an inverting feeder then it sounds as though lid not fully clicked into place- It takes the smallest of gap to unload the lot.We have all done something similar:svengo:
Good luck with your new colony, and welcome to the beekeeping fraternity:)
