Help with preventing cast swarm fleeing straight back to the garde

A friend had a cast on her garden and another friend helped her put into a Correx boxes earlier. This friend is going to take said cast to another site tonight less than 2 miles away. They are wondering whether to open the box tomorrow night (with a load of grass stuffed in the entrance so they have to chew their way out) or to leave them sealed up for two days. What they are trying to prevent is them flying straight back to her garden. Wondering what some of you would do and why. Thanks

If it’s a swarm it has reset its compass so there is no need to keep them in. Hive them into a nice snug poly nuc box and let the new queen out to mate. Give them a little syrup in three days

I always put a frame of brood in with them from disease free hive. That will have honey around the edges. The brood frame keeps them in the box. I've never closed the entrance except during transport to their new site.
