I am a musician making mostly ambient music which uses a lot of field/environmental recordings, and for some time now I've been extremely keen to capture some high-quality recordings of bee-hives. It may be a long shot, but I was hoping that a beekeeper in the Northeast would be kind enough to help me to do this, or point me in the direction of any local courses or open-day events in the area where I might be able to seek help.
