I'm Jenni from Salford with one hive that we started last autumn and the bees have got through the winter and seem to be thriving. Full inspection today.

Well done and welcome to the forum ... there have been quite a few colony losses over the last winter - even experienced beekeepers have lost colonies so you have got over the first hurdle ... and into year two where it sometimes gets even more challenging. Good luck in the coming season.

Hi Jenni, this year will be a huge learning curve for you. All your pristine frames will get covered in sticky propolis, all your white wax will turn black, there will be more bees than you could ever imagine. Swarms will be coming out every few weeks. You will run out of kit and/or money but........ You will be like the rest of us, hooked on your amazing bees. Feel free to ask any questions. We have heard it all before do no question is too stupid😁
Welcome
