Morning, Glass crown boards off over winter??

I did notice today a fair amount of condensation on the underside of glass crown boards today, worrying??

Anyone used glass crown boards over winter??

Yes
Most if mine are polycarbonate
The crucial thing is to have adequate insulation on top of the crownboard, 50mm PIR is just the ticket.
Condensation is restricted to the corners where it doesn’t matter. Make sure the roof covers the crownboard by a good few inches too
 
Ok, thanks, purchased PIR today,
Block vents in roof, cover inside with packing tape do the job?

Yes, now that you have some PIR, cut it to a size that fits snugly inside the roof and fix it in there permanently - it's as good for keeping the colony cool in summer as warm in winter :)
 
I just don't understand how the message that bottom ventilation should be paired with top insulation is not getting across.

The research proving this was done near 40 years ago.
