And what do frogs eat?

Regards, RAB
Frogs eat bees. And don't get stung. We have zillions of frogs but they're in the ponds up the hill (and the pothole by next farm along!). Hopefully our bees drink elsewhere....the slow twiggy stream past the hives would seem a good bet...).

Best give them an alternative...

a grass snake has taken up residence nr our pond, and decimated the frog population. :(

Yes, it WAS a rhetorical question!! Replies not really needed, but thanks anyway. It may help educate the masses!

2 frogs

By now, possibly 2000 tadpoles and ten potential new frogs to replace them! A few frogs around the garden is not a bad thing.

Regards, RAB

Are two frogs as bad as twenty or thirty swifts ........? and more swallows than I can count?

And don't forget ranavirus....frogs/tadpoles from garden ponds should never be deposited elsewhere.

ps my 8yo has released 50-odd tail-less froglets back into our farm pond. Tank reared to reduce the impact of the newts resident therein. Wish they'd eat a few more slugs (like millions....keel slugs free to good home, nah, keel slugs FREE...).
