- 1 Brought on Sunday 6th June 2010 & Now Have 9 Hives
After buying equipment over the last ten years i have at last bitten the bullet and brought a hive of bees i brought a complete hive with bees from a gentelman who had been doing it for years and was cutting down on numbers i looked at the bees for the first time on sunday and i saw the Queen on the second frame in which pleased me plus worker and drone brood....
After looking through all the photos on this site there is a mixture of both i always thought the frames should run from the front of the hive to the back but the one i have brought they run left to right and all the bees are on the frames at the back of the have rather than in the middle is this normal?
