Not sure if it's the same in other parts of the country, but in Surrey I've never seen so many flowers in May. Just looking around my neighbours' gardens it's obvious that both fauna and flora are thriving this year.
I've just added a 4th super to my hive and will need to pull at least 15 full frames this coming week.

What's it like elsewhere?

Do you have any OSR nearby? If you do you need to be extracting pronto, as it is well over in our part of the world. I extracted 240lb from 4 hives last week (10 supers in total).

Well my record number of supers on any hive at this time is..two. I have had two hives on four supers each...for a week and will need another soon..
Fields covered in buttercups, hawthorn white, ceanothus blooming, opium poppies just opening..horse chestnut out.. rasps will start in a week or so and cosmos starting .. and the phacelia attracting bees from everywhere..

I am exhausted after planting approx. 500 annuals in time to catch the rain last week... Looks wonderful though..
