First winter frost

Got up this morning to the first frost of the winter, froze pretty hard here last night, I could heat the busy scraping of windscreens up the road from us and the lawns were all carpeted in white.

Frost here too, mild but nice to see. Must have fallen in the early hours this way as it wasn't there when I went to chase off potential rustlers in the night.

No frost visible - but ice on car roofs, here. Nearly gone by now.

Last couple of nights there has been a slight light frost some very shallow laying water slightly iced over, this morning a hoar frost everywhere in the garden, even as I write now temps are only about 6c.
