Feeding virgin queen, who does it?

quickie, with regards to the feeding of a virgin queen, who does it? does she feed herself given she is all but ignored by the hive until she is mated.

Both,feeds herself,or the workers feed her.Virgins are not ignored.

The Virgins can feed themselves, its when the queen is mated she becomes reliant.

Im pretty sure of that, but it has been a long time since i went through my books.

Im pretty sure of that, but it has been a long time since i went through my books.

by feeding each others colony keep its unity together and spread the signals of queen . Virgin is busy and takes care that there is no competitors in the hive.
