if the syrup is cold they wont touch it, as opposed to fondant being in touch with the cluster they will use it

Syrup feeding with combs works always. Main point is that cold feeding box.

Thanks for the tip and the 1p coin is working well for me at the moment.. pretty snotty march weather here in sarf london but bees working quietly through the frames of stores that are in the poly ekes
