Hi All, Would appreciate some advice on honey extractors please. I don't expect to have anymore than 3 national hives up and running at any one time. I know there are various models on the market, plastic, stainless steel, radial tangential etc....lowish price to very high price!!!! Help!!! p.s. I don't mind a bit of graft so a manual one would be OK

if i remember rightly does thornes do a cheap table top job something under the £100 mark would suit you

The answer to your question may be spend as much as you can afford, you may think you will only have 3 hives but many of us sart that way

Some manual options can be converted to electric so if you go the manual route you might consider this.

If you have a nearby supplier - they do hire out - Paynes near me- its £5 for a couple of days.
