Just found the site, which is terrific. We have just ordered our two 3# of bee's, and are ready to get everything going in mid-April. We are excited to get going.

Hi there, Mazo's Bees!
A warm welcome to the Forum!
I'm 12 months ahead of you, so I well remember that mixture of expectation, excitement and, yes, mild anxiety!
Because of the awful weather here last year, it was mid-May before I could get mine - but they romped away and 15 weeks later I got what proved to be a monster harvest for 2012, of 125 pounds from 1 hive!
Now I'm at a point of anxiety: my own hive is thriving well, but another I'm responsible for, is looking decidedly less of a certainty in the winter. Then there's all the swarming activity I've got to look forward to.......
So, enjoy 2013! For 2014 is close behind!
