We look at some Européen contries and wonder how they managed to ban neonicotinoid pesticides while we still protest at fairs without hope that this will change something?
What europeans did to convince their own politicians or those in Europeen parliament?
It seems in recent years that they were talking among themselves, formed and joined a large European Association to discuss directly with representatives of the European Parliament: www.professional-beekeepers.eu
In this association you can not register as a simple member, only semi/professional beekeepers associations can sign.
So far the European Professional Beekeepers Association(E.P.B.A.) has 125,000 members in 16 associations / federations Européenne from the following countries:
www.professional-beekeepers.eu/index.php/members
Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, France, Hungary, Malta, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, Ireland and Estonia.
The list is open to other associations that want to join this great group of beekeepers.
