20 frame version. can have two colonies in... like a huge wooden beehouse :D
 
yo can fit there 4 supers actually. two stacks of two next to each other.
 
Now that is a WBC Whopping Big Cu*t.

Impressive size and build though. I imagine that it's desgined to be bear proof among other things.
 
Interesting to note that there appear to be 3 dummy boards to allow variation in size of each brood area. However, how that works with conventional sized supers is anyones idea (or are supers rectangular with similar dummy boards).

Those hives are ment to very unprofitable beestock. From where you get them? You need Pony Bees?

You cannot put there modern breeded queens.

40 years ago that kind of hives were usual in Sweden, Finland and in many other countries.

I may be that there is a skep inside in above picture. So you have a skep + one super with frames.
