Entrance Feeders

What is the best way to re-fill an entrance feeder without disturbing the little darlings too much? They guzzled the litre of autumn feed in about 5 hours.

I will be able to fit a larger rapid Miller feeder but not before next weekend and the entrance feeder is all I have at present but would like to get some feed into them now.

unless the girls are really starving i would not use it for anything except water

too easy to induce robbing and once the robbers are in you can lose the colony

Im my experience they emtpy those things quite quickly, so it the weather isnt too good, the bees (including robbers) aint going to be flying anyway.
