20 hives here in SW London. Noticing a lot of drones flying at the moment from a number of colonies, not just one or two corner cases. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

No. Not seen or heard any.
Opened a colony today ( with good cause) and not one drone seen. Some colonies do take occasional drone into winter, others none.

Here in the far-(ish) north I saw two drones buzz out for a short distance and then regain entry to a hive.

I’m still seeing drones in south Essex. I’m assuming it’s because of the weather as the bees are still fairly active. My weather app is telling me it’s 17 degrees at the high point today. Guess that’s pretty unusual for mid November

Haven’t spotted any down the road in Ealing. The girls are definitely making the most of the warm weather today though.
