Weather been so terrible here for over a week with daytime temps not getting above 9 degrees. Noticed today one colony with and abundanceof drones has drove hundreds out of the hive. Colony is strong brood and a half and two supers. Shocking when it's only June.

Expecting to find queen cells torn down at this weekend inspections. Hoping to do my first grafts next week with better weather forcast.

A bit of rain wouldn't go amiss here. The ground is getting very dry - don't want the flowers to dry up! (I'll go and wash my mouth out now...)

Best weather we've had for years ,I'm looking forward to getting some honey this year.

Looks like it warms up by 8 degrees tomorrow down here in soon to be sunny again Kent. Which is good, because i have some queens that need mating.
