Dorobantiu Alexandru beehive type

I want to introduce a type of hive invented in the past by a Romanian beekeper named Dorobantiu Alexandru.

This model hive was invented in the years 1950-1960 but unfortunately found that it is not feasible and quit using it.

I can't understand the newspaper cutting, but the lower picture looks as if it's 3 nucleus colonies in one box. Is that right?
