One interesting aspect of this latest research is the finding that drones visit multiple DCAs on a single flight.

Obviously we already knew that drones were itinerant between colonies, and that they would fly to different DCAs at different times.

But it's interesting that any individual drone will work to maximise his chances by hitting as many areas as possible in one single trip. No luck in one area, just move on to the next without wasting time on refueling between. Presumably this would weed out the weaker drones who didn't have the stamina to keep going.
