Very dark and heavy honey

It's medium .... could be anything. Depends upon when it was harvested and what they foraged on ... without knowing that it's just guesswork.

How long ago did you extract it? Have you heated it up to liquify it?

As you say untill the op answers what time of year he extracted, it might narrow it down a bit.

I’d say summer honey with lime in it as blackberry didn’t do well last year generally

the tree honeys tend to darken the colour

I’ll try and post a photo sometime of my English buckwheat honey - now that’s like treacle !

Yes it was first extraction alot of clover and field thistle in area not much spring honey at that apiary

Do you like the buckwheat honey (see my avatar)? My wife and I love it, but some don’t. @WoodenBeam on here likens the smell to pigs’ slurry
