Cutting Cut Comb - What Do You Use?

Messing around with cut comb honey today - tried a variety of knives.
The narrow flexible boning knife seemed to cut best, do you use anything in particular?
Or am I overthinking this as per usual……..

That's a posh one, I use a 1914 WD shear steel carving knife my grandfather borrowed from the catering corps.

I have knives inherited from my grandmother. When we go away and we have house sitters I hide them

I use a hotplate, a pan of hot water, and two knives. Make a cut, put that knife back in the very hot water,
make a cut with the second knife, and put it back in the water. Makes a very staring cut with no crushing of the comb.

it helps to sharpen them now and then

ive only produced a few frames of this and I managed with the cut comb cutter which worked ok for the few i did

I know the ones I have were sharp (all bought second hand at auction) as one batch of cut comb was ruined when I bled all over it!
