Countryfile BBC1 - 7pm 19th April

Will be available on iplayer -I was not expecting it to be a good report on the problems with bees, but my jaw hit the ground and stayed there!
It was excellent - A really good swipe at Bayer and Neonicotinoids, and not a peep out of the British Beekiller's Association! - (where's the somersault smiley?)

My only moan would be that it was made to sound like the goverment had put up 4 mill plus to research chemical sprays on bees, which as we all know is not really the case, but yeah was pretty good. Other part i liked was having a university proffesor (even a french one) saying chemicals are bad, and the best Bayer could put out was a guy barely out of nappies who certainly came across as a bit clueless.

Though maybe that shows how seriously bayer takes the whole thing.

I was just on my way in when the electric garage door opener broke, so only just in from fixing that.

Glad it is on Iplayer, sounds like a good report on bees compared to most of the usual rubbish about bees and their "problems"

Yes very good report for a change and about the one of the real problems, not just the weather.Makes the brittish bee killers association and there cosy relationship with the pesticide companys look stupid, compared to there counterparts in the other countrys, expect thats why they were not on the program.

Programes don't get uploaded to iplayer until 2 hours after it is shown on tv, so if you try about 10 pm it will be on there and the link will work.

Well done Co-op

Just wish they'd stop putting that Rowse shit on the shelves, the staff in my local shop are getting annoyed with my shelf reorganising.
