Contract Theft

Hi All
Just had an e mail from a good beekeeping friend, he has been informed by his parish council that there has been a "Contract" put out for 60 hives of bees in the Wilts, Hants and Dorset area and further if required I guess. Just thought I would pass it on to keep our eyes peeled, not much more we can do.

is there anymore info on this ? which police force has this originated from ? I'd like this info so I can engage my local police force on the matter.

Surely if the parish council has heard that then they must have some idea where it came from ?

I have asked a few questions and spoke to our local police, the info is definitely correct as it came from Salisbury/Wilton Police unfortunately no more is known at present but I have been told to spread the word and keep our eyes peeled and report anthing unusual or suspicious.
